Since our inception more than 40 years ago, D & F Mold has actively participated with local high schools and technical colleges to nurture a highly skilled team who work together for quality, productivity, and fun. Die cast die making is an enjoyable and rewarding career. We work with educators and students to find young, inquiring talent who is interested in understanding how things work and applying that knowledge to make things.
Apprenticeships require 8,000 or more hours of on-the-job experience and mentoring along with technical college for STEM skills, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The result is a journeyman mold maker certification, recognized nationwide as a highly skilled technician, critical to U.S. manufacturing.
